This week we review the reviews of "Kindred in Death." As we know it was hard for us to read, so you can only imagine how hard it was for people who write bad reviews. The number of times we say that people are just dumb is off the charts on this episode.
We learn in this episode that if you are seeing a book in a bad light, but most other people feel it's a good book, instead of being surprised that people don't see things like you see them, maybe you should consider that you are wrong.
We go on a little rant about authors who give one star reviews of other author's work.
We have an asshole who thinks something in this book says that Nora is "stuck on herself." (fuck you, Charlie)
Some people need to stop being Coke elitists. People are allowed to like things you don't like.
Also...You can't just check someone's cell phone records and solve a case.
Of course we have to have at least one "Ghostwriter" accusation.
On the plus side, we love all the reviewers who love Mrs Mimoto, were happy for Charles and Louise's wedding, even though we don't get much of that, and one who says: "If the US had an equivalent title to the "Dame of the British Empire" that was given to Agatha Christie, Nora Roberts would have earned it for sure!" So, we used ChatGPT to come up with some similar titles for Nora including "Empress of Contemporary Fiction."
Lastly, in a nice surprise, we have a reviewer giving Susan Ericksen a good review, but also drops in a shoutout to Podcast in Death, and we are here for it!!
In this episode, we talk about "Memory in Death." In this one, It's Christmas time, and Eve comes face-to-face with one of her former...
Here we go again with a new round of reviews! In this episode we learn: "From Dallas to Texas" is one of the best...
Susan Ericksen, for those who may not know, is a classically trained actor and an award winning audiobook narrator with over 500 audiobooks in...
